• Like to buy the all-natural cleaners? They can be expensive! Make you own, spray some hydrogen peroxide and then some white vinegar onto the surface-it doesn’t what order you spray them in- then wipe it off. It does the job cheaper, without the toxins
• The classified ads aren’t just for lining the bottom of the bird cage, Take a look, you won’t believe what you’ll find…cheap or even better, for free. Talk about recycling, that would be my favorite kind!

Let’s adjourn to the bathroom, shall we? Do you have a teenager in the house? I do, and how many times have a stood outside that bathroom door and said those inevitable words uttered by my mother, her mother and generations beforehand (only that involved a wash basin, I’m sure). Say it with me…What do you have a 60 gallon body? You could buy a timer for the bathroom, that’s helps someone distracted with exfoliating and over-conditioning to keep an eye on how much time they’re taking in the shower. Or maybe just pick your battles and go get a low flow shower head. They don’t cost much and the water and energy savings can quickly pay back your investment. And then, live to fight another day, after all, with that loud music issue and the dirty dishes left in the living-room, shouldn’t you save your strength for those arguments instead?
