Here Sarah's groovy green tips for Wednesday, October 27th:
• Remember: Halloween shouldn’t bankrupt you! Practice the word “no” in the mirror and then try it out on the kids! They don’t need the latest store bought costume, instead they can use their imaginations and create a costume to be proud of!
• Hoping they’re listening even as they roll their eyes, remind your kids one more time how important it is that they bring home all their candy for your inspection. And then, ask them first before you eat some. After all, you’d ask the same of them!
• Not sure about trick or treating this year, especially since Halloween falls on a school night? Middlebury’s Spooktacular on Saturday is a good substitution for the usual candy hunt. For more info, check out the Area Calendar page on www.921wvtk.com!
