Here Sarah's groovy green tips for Thursday, September 16th:

• Wanna talk recycling? My daughter outgrew a shirt and I inherited it! I might add, it looks quite fetching on me!
• While the weather is still cooperating make a pledge to get out and walk at least one of those errands as opposed of driving there. At least one of them have to be close enough to make that happen!

Here on the Go Green Ride at Five I’m often talking about walking as opposed to driving, well taking that a few steps further (no pun intended!): This October 17th, My team and I will be participating in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. It the American Cancer Society’s Premiere fundraiser. The WVTK Addison County Striders are not only going to walk the walk (a non-competitive 5 mile walk), we are talking the talk! We’re out to raise $2000! How we’re going to do it is talk with every friend, every co-worker, every family member, every client, pretty much anyone who will listen about this amazing event and how this money will be used. It will go towards not only supporting those suffering with this horrible disease and their families, but also put into programs for prevention, like early screenings and yearly mammograms.
