Go Green tips for September 10th

Gotta tip you want to share with Sarah and the Go Green Ride at Five? Email her: sarah@921wvtk.com!

Here Sarah's groovy green tips for Friday, September 10th:

• What’s better than recycling? Buying recycled products! Look for office supplies, furniture, flooring all made out of repurposed materials! What goes around comes around again, that great in all things expect fruitcake!
• Okay, so we’re finally remembering to bring our reusable bags to the grocery, but what about the drug store, or the farmers market or even when you do a Saturday of garage sale shopping? Bring those bags and show your green!

This weekend the fun in Addison County continues and I, once again, get to be in the center of it. September 11th is Middlebury Natural Foods Coop’s Second annual Harvest Festival. Happening from noon to 4pm, this is a great chance to see the Coop at it’s best! You can meet local food producers with tons of samples of local foods, there will be live music from the Cajun band, Yankee Chank and even super-fun kids activities. It’s free to the public and watch out for the blond with the camera, cause I’ll be there, with my hand in the samples. Make sure I take your picture because I’ll be posting all of my pictures from the event on www.921wvtk.com! Look for me, Sarah Stone, from noon to 2 at Middlebury Natural Foods Coop Second Annual Harvest Festival this Saturday, September 11th! Getting out and about on the Go Green Ride at Five on 92.1 WVTK!
