Gotta tip you want to share with Sarah and the Go Green Ride at Five? Email her: sarah@921wvtk.com!
Here Sarah's groovy green tips for Tuesday, September 7th:
• Fix leaky faucets. All those wasted drops add up—sometimes to 10-25 gallons a day.
• Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth and washing the dishes. Shave a minute or two off your shower time. Millions of people doing even the little things makes a difference.
This weekend the fun in Addison County continues and I, once again, get to be in the center of it. September 11th is Middlebury Natural Foods Coop’s Second annual Harvest Festival. Happening from noon to 4pm, this is a great chance to see the Coop at it’s best! You can meet local food producers with tons of samples of local foods, there will be live music from the Cajun band, Yankee Chank and even super-fun kids activities. It’s free to the public and watch out for the blond with the camera, cause I’ll be there, with my hand in the samples. Make sure I take your picture because I’ll be posting all of my pictures from the event on www.921wvtk.com! Look for me, Sarah Stone, from noon to 2 at Middlebury Natural Foods Coop Second Annual Harvest Festival this Saturday, September 11th! Getting out and about on the Go Green Ride at Five on 92.1 WVTK!
