• What’s your hurry? Driving 10 mph above 60 is like adding nearly 50 cents to the price of a gallon of gas, since higher speed equals more guzzling.
Have you made out your Christmas list yet? I think I’ve already mentioned my daughter producing hers after some time spent on the computer. It was footnoted, itemized, and had labeled pictures attached. Anyway, some great, green suggestions for inexpensive gifts: a new travel coffee mug, everyone could always use one more of those! It would mean more of us using less of those disposable coffee cups! If your child doesn’t already have a copy of Dr. Seuss’s “The Lorax”, that’s a wonderful gift to reinforce the issue of preserving our natural resources. It’s one of my daughter’s favorite books! A gift certificate for local shopping, some Middlebury Money or a gift card from the local coop would make anyone a happy recipient!
