Go Green Tips for December 16th

Gotta tip you want to share with Sarah and the Go Green Ride at Five? Email her: sarah@921wvtk.com!

Here Sarah's groovy green tips for Thursday, December 16th:

• A new coat for Christmas means your gently used coat can be donated to one of our local resale shops! Pay it forward!!

Winter is here whether the calendar knows it or not, and now that we’ve winterized our homes on the inside, it’s time to find fun stuff to do outside! The kids are about to be out of school, why not have a list of fun outside activities sitting at the ready! A great one for a snow day would be animal tracking. If you have access to a forest or extended field, head on out with a camera and go in search of differing animal paw prints. It can be very exciting, especially if you happen across a larger print! Then, when you come back in to thaw out over some hot chocolate, (don’t forget the marshmallows!) sit down at the computer and find out what you’ve tracked! Visit U.S. Search & Rescue’s website about animal tracks for some great help in the endeavor! Do you have a fun wintertime outside activity to share? Email it to me: sarah@921wvtk.com!
